One of the most important aspects of blogging is writing a compelling blog post.In my opinion it is the most crucial.It does not matter if you are doing a great job driving traffic to your site,if the content is crap you will get nowhere.Fortunately you don’t need a degree to write compelling blog posts,it can be easily learned.
There are a number of options to consider when writing blog posts.You can concentrate on pure fresh content that is informative,valuable and well written ;write product reviews which would help buyers make informed decisions before making purchases or share your opinions and thoughts concerning various news publications.
As I indicated earlier,the skills for writing compelling posts can be easily developed ,it depends on one’s interest and determination.Providing comprehensible, factual and search engine optimized content is the desire of every blogger and below are some guidelines which are helpful for efficient blogging.
* Avoid writing very long sentences and paragraphs. They usually deter readers from reading everything – bear in mind readers usually lose interest within the first 20seconds .Short paragraphs incite further reading.

* Stir desire – This very much depends on your goal. If you are promoting an affiliate product it is necessary to generate that compelling craving for that product and if it is for informational purposes only this principle still applies so that the reader sticks around for long.

* White space is a valuable asset. Use it. It makes reading easier. Nothing is harder to read than a thick block of text

* Call for action -There is always something you want your readers to do on your blog,either buy a product,leave a comment or sign up to your list.Make sure you include that call for action in your blog.A successful blogger does well to ensure that readers hang on for long and take an action.
* Always do a spell check before posting your blogs.Too many errors gives a doubtful impression.
* Always keep the posts interesting- Erase any irrelevant points
* Avoid the use of slang terms as some readers are easily offended. Make use of words that are easily understood by many people. Bear in mind that your readers come from different educational and cultural backgrounds.
* Avoid using too many abbreviations – it impairs comprehension of your post.
