WordPress Goldmine by Mark Thompson covers many of the common topics in a blogging and how to make money online book, but it does so in a slightly different format than most other books.

The WordPress Goldmine e-book starts out with the common topics like getting domain names, setting up your WordPress blog, getting the right themes, in other words your basic setup. It also includes how to provide content to your blogs such hiring cheap labor to write it for you or buying Private Label Rights content.

With that out of the way, the author gets into the specifics of how to monetize your blog through affiliate offers primarily. The monetization section is quite extensive in comparison to the ratios seen in other books. The final two sections in the book cover the typical traffic and web 2.0 topics areas.

Marks WordPress Goldmine is a book on making money online, and the method it takes to make money online is by using blogs, specifically, WordPress blogs. If you are looking to make money online by blogging, then this program is a good fit for you. But if you are planning to become a professional blogger or if you looking for a book on blogging, then you should buy a different course.

What I Dont Like: — Finding objective information about WordPress Goldmine will be difficult for anyone looking for it. Unfortunately, there seem to be (literally) hundreds of results for “honest” reviews that contain either exactly the same text, or substantially similar content, indicative of content that has been copied from an approved sales letter.

The WordPress Goldmine Course Contains: the 117-page WordPress Goldmine e-book, a Members-Only Forum, WordPress Secure Pro, 17 companion videos, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for WordPress videos.

Meet Stated Objectives? — Excellent: This is a solid book on learning to use blogs to make money with affiliate programs and it is remarkably hype-free. Considering that, it met its objectives in fine form.

Ease of Use: — Good: Like all the other blogging books I have reviewed, the user still has to learn some technical skills to implement what is being taught in the book.

Customer Support: — Excellent: E-mail support plus the Members-Only Forum gives you all the help you need.

Value for Money: — $67: Good — Most bonuses are useless, but his actually add value to the package, but I think the price is a bit high for the information he is giving.

Overall Rating: — Good: WordPress Goldmine offers a different approach to making money online with blogs, and the comprehensive reviews on the topic of making money online are fresh and hype-free.
