Find yourself a mentor or coach that is genuine and you feel you can work with. This is crucial to you succeeding in your new business and will give you a great start. They will be able to provide you with firsthand knowledge and advice, they will also walk you through the whole process. One thing to watch out for is how they react when you phone or email them. Do they get back to you if you leave a message? When you speak are you comfortable in conversation or do you get the impression that the person cannot be bothered? All these factors add up when finding a suitable coach to work with so be careful. Dont become an orphan, by this I mean when you have paid for your business, the person you decided to work with goes cold on you. From then on you are left to get on with it and struggle alone. Before parting with your cash, phone, email or contact your future sponsor to see if he/she is a person you can connect with.

Brand and promote yourself, not the company that you choose to work with. It is a fact of life that people buy from folk they like or feel they can trust. Why do you think that worldwide companies employ celebrities and major stars to support their products? It is because these people are already very popular and have a massive following. They have a good image which then in turn will bring that product to the eyes of this massive fan base, thus creating big sales.

Build an online presence. Make sure you have a blog out there, which you will update on a regular basis. Write articles, sing up with social networking sites and make friends and contacts regularly. Have a Bio page that explains your story. The Idea is to make yourself visible and to have authority in your niche. This will make you accessible to people interested in companies like your net biz and show that you know what you are doing and talking about.

Educate yourself by reading books and take in advice from others that know better than you. Invest in programs that your sponsor may feel will help your online efforts and speed up the income process. Do this only if your budget permits. Remember you can never learn enough!

Set a budget and stick to it. Only lay out to what you can afford and dont overspend. A lot of people give up after punching above their weight and that forces them to quit after not seeing a return. Also track what you are doing and stick to what works and throw out what dont.

Get a daily or weekly routine going. Be consistent and stick with it. You will find that you will adjust your list all the time until it is right. Write things down on a notepad or your computer and add new ideas. This will become a lot easier the more you do it.
