No one affiliate program is going to make you an overnight millionaire, but there are a few affiliate networks that will more than offer you enough possibilities to make your presence known.

- You need to find out the longevity of the best business opportunities. It is advisable to get a program that ensures that you are marked out as the referrer even after a long time. This is because people mostly tend to make the purchase on their second or third visit to the website.

- You might also want to find affiliate programs that pay you according to the number of impressions or hits you generate. If a product is low on sales, then this is a sure shot way of earning a decent sum. Some systems are also two tiered. This means that apart from payment for hits, each sale will also transform into some sort of a payment for you.

However, the most important part is surely the amount of commission that this work generates. There are certain programs that give you commissions of over 75% for click-backs. With these in the market, it makes no sense to work for programs that offer less than 50% as commission.
