If you are a professional network marketer in the 21st century then you need to have your own blog. By not having your own blog you will be fighting a losing battle against the fast moving technology of the internet.
A network marketer has to start a blog to stand a winning chance. But I am not talking about just any blog. I am talking about a proper self hosted wordpress blog that presents well with easy navigation and provides heaps top information. There is plenty of cheap and very affordable hosting from places like Hostgator.
Next, you will need to register your own domain name. Using a domain name that has your name is best because in network marketing, you need to market YOURSELF and not your network marketing company. i.e. if you name was John Smith then JohnSmith dot com is a good choice.
The first and most important tip you should learn as a network marketing blogger is not to create another information website like an Amway encyclopedia as Wikipedia or the MAIN Amway websites have this covered. Just create your blog that selling you as the marketer.
Be prepared to post at least 3 articles per week. You do not need to post long essays like you had to write when you attended grade school. However, people who are online want fast information in an instant, just like 2 minute noodles. So short posts are best and if you spread out your long stories over short posts, it will create a good habit and keep your blog reader and subscribers coming back for more on a regular basis.
Select a good blog theme, that allows your reader to easily scrolling and navigation is a must. A good tip to keep in mind is selecting a blog theme that has the sidebar on the right of the theme. This is very necessary as Google scans blogs and their content from left to right. Do you need another reason?
Because blog posts are all indexed separately it is possible for each of your blog posts to get traffic that exceeds the main home page. However, this is not possible if you have your side bar on the left as Google only be able to read the SAME content over and over again as it scans from left to right. And having duplicate content is not the best.
In summary, do not be paralyzed by analysis. Just get started. If you do not have a flare for writing, do not worry you can easily outsource everything to a ghostwriter or ghost blogger. Alternatively you could use pictures, videos, podcasts or other media to get your message out. The key is just get started.
