In order to make money in the offline niche, you will have to either have knowledge of internet marketing and possess a skill such as web design, article writing, press release writing, basic SEO (basic Search Engine Optimization), setting up autoresponders, setting up a PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign or any other related internet marketing skill.

At first glance, all the above skills might make it look like you aren’t qualified to do offline consulting, however, there is an easy solution. You can still make money in the offline niche by outsourcing the tasks to freelancers online. So you will have to at least know where to get yourself a freelancer so that you can have the work done and make a profit by charging more money to the offline business owner (almost like being a middle man).

An Offline Marketer will only be of benefit if they can increase the exposure and sales for the local businessman by taking him online and providing services like:

- Optimize for Search Spiders (SEO) – Researching Proper Keywords – Creating Adwords Campaigns – Article Submission – Writing Press Releases – Understanding and Using Autoresponders

However, it is not limited to the above list of services. You can learn how to perform any of the above services (if you don’t know how to already) by doing a Google search on “how to…” and you will most likely be able to find what you’re looking for, for FREE. You can also do a simple search to see what other people/companies are charging to perform these services for offline businesses in your area or the area that you wish to target.

Next you need to promote your internet marketing services to local businesses by distributing fliers, brochures, business cards, internet ads, making unannounced calls, dropping by businesses and presenting your offer, and any other way that you can think of to find interested clients. You will be surprised how easy it really is because there is a great need for local businesses to have an online presence and you, my friend, can be the answer.

You can also capitalize or make money on your understanding of offline marketing by creating a video series, ebook or small report on any aspect of offline marketing such as, setting up autoresponders. For example, if you know how to optimize a website for the search engines or how to perform simple keyword research… You can write a short, easy-to-understand report or a longer eBook on the subject and sell it to other internet marketers and/or offline business owners who want to learn how to perform these tasks themselves.

Offline Marketing requires that you have a working knowledge of skills such as working with autoresponders, creating a PPC campaign in Adwords, basic search engine optimization, website creation and design, writing articles and press releases along with other related internet marketing skills.
