Enlyten is a direct marketing company that sells strips. Not stripes, strips. Similar to mouthwash strips that came on the market a few years ago, they melt on your tongue. But enlyten is not in the mouthwash business. Their strips contain antioxidants, or melatonin, and they have calorie burner strips and appetite suppressor strips.
This company will officially launch in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 31st, and August 1st of 2009. Even in pre-launch mode they have been getting some national attention and have even signed Shaquille O?Neal to be their spokesman. And the website says Shaq will be at the event in Las Vegas.
Enlyten received national attention when their product was used by Syracuse men’s basketball trainer Brad Pike. They were given partial credit for their 6 overtime win over Connecticut, in Madison Square Garden. The trainer used Gatorade and the enlyten electrolyte strips to help keep them hydrated and going strong during that marathon game.
Enlyten is saying they are a consumer to consumer business, really it is MLM. There are no retail outlets with consumer to consumer marketing, it is all done with people selling to other people. Products can only be purchased through distributor websites, and the marketing heavily relies on word of mouth.
Since, even though they deny it, enlyten is an MLM you get paid two different ways. You get paid when people sign up for your downline, and you get paid when people buy the product from your website. Enlyten’s website does not have one tidbit of hard facts about their compensation plan right now. You have to request this information from the company.
The enlyten website does a good job of getting people excited to join right now. They focus on the fact that after the official launch people will be rushing to sign up. If you sign up now and get yourself in place, some of them will be signing up under you. This will be a quick and easy way to build up your enlyten downline.
The company is touting its educational materials. I don?t doubt that they will teach you plenty about consumer to consumer marketing. But it will all be filtered through the person or people who designed the training. They will only teach the practices that they think will make money.
The truth is you need to invest in a marketing course besides the one the company offers. The marketing field is just so huge, you need to learn from someone who can look past the company, and the product, and teach the skills without bias. You can take an online marketing course, and learn to be a successful marketer from the comfort of your home.
