Another option is to move online and join an affiliate program. A huge range of products are sold this way. Like in the offline world, you can decide to sell tangible products such as cameras and watches, or you can sell non-physical products like e-books and domain names. Services are also sold this way. One example is when you would sign up to sell website hosting on a commission basis.

Many affiliate programs (and network marketing programs) allow you to build up your own sales team, just as in the offline world. So you can still get commission on sales generated by people whom you have recruited for the company.

A home base business can be very rewarding and huge fun, as long as you do your homework well and you manage it just as professionally as any other business.
