Take the money you earn there, buy some more collectibles at garage sales and flea markets, and sell them online. Once you get some money from there, get your business license and account, and buy some products wholesale. Now sell them for retail value, and you might even double your money. Keep reinvesting.

Freelance Services

Start a blog and put some of your writing, graphic design, music or video work on it. Now go to a freelancing website and place bids on every project that seems relevant to what you’re good at. Once you get some work rolling in, once you’ve made some money and feel secure with the business side of what you do, set up a website to recruit some more content creators, and then find a site where you can bid on projects in bulk directly from the people who want the content. Now bid on some work and hand it out to your writers, taking a small finders fee from each project. Not a bad living for what amounts to just sending a few emails now and then.

Selling Art

If you make videos, post them on sites that share their ad revenue. If you write music, record a CD and sell it as library production music with the license to use in videos or commercials or independent films or… Whatever. If you do graphic design, draw up some clever t-shirts for an online print shop. Create a lot of output. Devote all your free time for months on end to producing a ton of work. Not every project will be a hit, but the few that will will provide you with a small trickle of income. Keep building your library of work and keep making more money with each of them.
