Be Sure of Your Copyright… or Wham!
The web makes it easy to copy and paste. When you see a great photo it can be very tempting to snag it for your own use. The problem is every bit of code, design, text, graphic or photo belongs to someone.
One guy had 30+ images on his site. He thought he could get away with removing the watermark. Nope… there's a digital watermark embedded in the file. Now the owners of the photos want one thousand dollars per photo, or go to court. Ouch!
If you bought images on a CD, or got them with a template, it doesn't mean you have the right to use them. I'd double check with the person who sold you the templates. (If he hasn't packed up his wagon and disappeared.
