Website Building Free
Website building free is not a totally true statement. Before you can upload a website you must first have a domain name and a host for the site. Buying a domain these days usually only runs about $10 a year and some domain name sites will host you for free if you buy the name through them.
Open source (free) software abounds on the Internet allowing you to accomplish website building free. A quick search with this article title, website building free, will give you many results for this kind of software.
If you’re just starting out, you will likely want what’s called WYSIWYG (an acronym for What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get, a drag-and-drop application). It’s very easy to learn to use it.
If using any amount of cash is a problem, you might want to lower your sights just a bit and go to either Weebly.com or Squidoo.com. They have simple software and free hosting. Having used both, I did my website building free and had little trouble doing it.
Weebly offers a few more tools to use than Squidoo in their website building free software. You choose from modules for things like images, text, videos and more and just drop them onto the webpage. Then you fill in the boxes with your content. They also offer web templates to make the sites look individual and professional.
The website building free software is easy to learn to use and you’ll find yourself building a page pretty quickly once you get used to some little quirks. One tip I would have is to assemble all the content you’re going to need to build a site into a project folder before you begin making a webpage. Then when you’re ready to start, you’ll have everything at your fingertips, making it that much faster to build a site.
The other option of Squidoo is also has simple website building free software. They don’t offer web templates there, so in my eyes the sites tend to look alike, but then that’s just me. It’s just another option. Thousands of people use them and they show up in Google searches all the time. You might want to look them over.
Once you’ve put up a few sites and feel more comfortable with the whole process, you might want to move up to another website building free product like Kompozer that allows you to design a custom site without the modules and upload to your own domain. It looks a little more professional and allows you a lot more freedom of choice.
