These various techniques and strategies combine for the purpose of increasing page rank or improving the position a website occupies on the search result pages. Normally most of traffic is received by those pages that appear first, because those are the most relevant for the query performed by a web surfer when typing in the search box of the engine. By SEO, the page rank can be influenced, but the main search engines use around two hundred algorithms to determine the ranking as such.
Why is page ranking so important? From the point of view of the Internet marketing approach, SEO represents a strategy more appealing to customers.
The difficulty arises from the fact that SEO and keyword bidding go hand in hand, and the prices for keywords can be very high. Although, SEO generates a return on investment rate, there is a permanent wind of change modifying the electronic market altering the rules of search engine optimization. This explains why certain keywords become obsolete or show a poor performance even if at the moment of their choice they were top notch.

For such cases, SEO implies very advanced requirements, together with the domain name registration and the necessity for website translation.
Although the SEO fundamentals remain the same regardless of the language, the pressure put on the activities of a web master are very high in the conditions of optimal functionality and profitability.

Search engines like Google for example have put together tutorials on search engine optimization for the purpose of improving the users’ capacity to take advantage of programs like Adwords. If a business loses money, the profit of the pay-per-click program it uses will be limited; therefore, Google has all the financial interest in the world to help businesses flourish. If conducted well, a business can grow beautifully with an adequate SEO and a little investment.
