SEO Secrets 2.0 Will Teach You How to Raise Your Search Engine Ranking to the Top of Live Search
Of all the chapters throughout SEO Secrets 2.0, this is probably THE most critical to your long-term success with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The lessons you will learn here will be repeated throughout the curriculum because their importance cannot be overstated.
The proper Keyword selection strategies, especially focusing on the action or buying words and your essential link building strategies will form the foundation upon which you will build SEO Mastery. Keywords tell the search engines what your page is about; inbound links let the search engines know your page is important.
Naturally – this is just the core foundation within any search engine’s algorithms, but know these will always be integral to their process. In reality, they very likely have dozens of factor which they take into consideration in determining where your page should reside in their indexes and just how important it is relative to other web pages in their indexes.
In SEO Secrets 2.0 I can’t overemphasize the importance of taking the time to carefully research and choose your specifically targeted and strategically placed keywords. It’s not uncommon for the average user to spend a month or more systematically researching all the possible keyword variations.
Putting everything you’ve got into Keyword selection strategies, especially focusing on the action or buying words will pay off in spades in your final results. Understanding and applying the essential link building strategies you will learn in SEO Secrets 2.0 will carry over into every facet of your SEO Mastery.
I believe it is a Chinese proverb; ‘Know thy enemy’ – your competition in this case. Your keyword selections strategy must include a thorough competitive analysis of both their keywords and their one way inbound linking strategy. Realize that attracting high-quality, one way inbound links will do more to improve your search engine ranking than all of your other SEO efforts combined!
SEO Secrets 2.0 will teach you how to create both an internal and external linking strategy to ensure all of the pages on your website get indexed properly. It is very unlikely any of the search engines will index a page with no links; how would their spiders get to it?
By internal, I mean that the pages of your Web site should be interlinked with each other from the site map; maybe even from other pages, not directly from the site map. You want to have all your pages interlinked ” multiple ways of getting to your pages ” both internally and externally.
The best keywords in the world alone will do you absolutely no good unless – you also have inbound links. I have devoted two chapters in SEO Secrets 2.0 to link building because although it will be the most challenging task you must master, but it will also be the most rewarding. Ideally, keep your pages under 100k (excluding images).
Now there is a limit to the number links you put on ANY page. No web page should contain more than 100 links as a rule of thumb. You may have run across pages that violate this rule and put thousands of links on a single page; that is a mistake for several reasons I won’t go into here.
If your Web site has fewer than 100 pages, you should make every effort to put a site map that contains no more than 100k in size, excluding images. There is a significant advantage to having only one site map placed in the root of your site.
Place your sitemap in the root of your website to ensure that the search engine spiders can find every page on your site within two clicks from your homepage. Additionally, the pages of your site should be interlinked – connected directly to each other (logically related content) to ensure there is more than one path both users and spiders can follow.
