Marketing Secret 2

One of the first things they teach you in design school is the use of personas. Before you're permitted to write a single line of copy, you must decide who your audience will be.
Will you write the ad for Henry the handyman or Sally the soccer mom. If you have a wide audience, consider using ads and landing pages for each persona that visits your site.
You could create separate sales messages for men and women. Basic, pro and elite levels. Separate messages for faculty, staff, students, alumni and scholarships.
It's a little extra work, but if you talk directly to the needs of small targeted groups, you'll increase your sales and conversions.

Chiropractic Marketing That’s Recession-Proof

by Matthew Loop, DC

It’s only been a few years since I introduced Web 2.0 to chiropractors and showed them how social media could revolutionize the way their businesses market themselves. It’s hard to believe it’s only been three years, because Web 2.0 has already exponentially grown in this short time. And I thought it was impressive before! I started by marketing on MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook, and from there I’ve expanded all over the web. Web 2.0 has spread like a wildfire, and still does with every passing moment. Even as I sit here, my wealth increases with the power of social media, which never stops working. People are learning to not only expand their chiropractic practices, but also create multiple streams of income.

The days of back-breaking, paid marketing and advertising are over by many standards. In the struggling economy that is upon us, chiropractors that still use “stone-age” methods to acquire new patients are finding that success is few and far in-between. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and embrace these exciting and much-needed changes in chiropractic marketing.

Quite frankly, my “economy” is booming just like the hundreds of other chiropractors that have started to implement strategic methods for social media marketing. A global shift has occurred and the question you have to ask is, “Do you want to be a part of this goldmine or do you want to be left-out in the cold?”

Here are just a few of the sites that can dramatically transform your chiropractic practice, and earn you phenomenal amounts of wealth and success 24 hours a day. Try YouTube.com, Digg.com, Squidoo.com, EzineArticles.com, StumbleUpon.com, Facebook.com, Myspace.com, Free-Press-Release.com, Wordpress.com, Photobucket.com, and eHow.com. These are the Web 2.0 powerhouses, and they’re just the beginning.

There are actually more than a few hundred sites that can provide this same powerful marketing magic, but for the sake of time, here were just a few. When you’re starting this new marketing strategy, it’s vitally important to have a clear plan of implementation and an exceptional knowledge of what you’re getting into. But, as a practicing chiropractor, you don’t need to do this yourself. That’s not your job and expertise! You can outsource this task to someone with knowledge and experience to do it for you.

These tools are easy to learn when you have the right teacher, and anyone can get the hang of it. When you are coachable, you can exponentially increase your chances of success today and in the future with this free chiropractic marketing.

You can even make your practice an online money-maker with Web 2.0 social media. There’s nothing that beats getting-up in the morning and knowing that Web 2.0 has been working for you throughout the night, making more money and connections. Sometimes it seems like a dream that business can happen so effortlessly and successfully, but there are other chiropractors who are living this dream, so I know it’s a reality.

Establishing other systems of passive income along with your current practice will make you recession-proof. Bigger thinking is required in times like these and those that are constantly scouting innovative methods for attracting new patients will thrive and prosper.

Start by providing something of value to current and future patients online. When you put yourself and your practice in front of the world audience, you are greatly increasing your ability to communicate with a greater pool of people and sharing your talents. And believe that you have something to offer and talk about on the web! There are people out there that you can help, and they want to hear from you. Develop a YouTube video channel around a weekly series discussing some aspect of your chiropractic field. This is just an example of something helpful and informative that you could do that will simultaneously draw more people to your practice.

The sky’s the limit, so be one of the innovators that are using Web 2.0 in a new and constructive way to create business and lasting relationships with new patients. While you’re at it, create other streams of income that ensure the continued health and growth of your practice.
